Interesting, varied and challenging: that's our work for the CDG. We support excellent research projects in Christian Doppler Laboratories and Josef Ressel Centers and fund more than 1,000 scientists at universities, universities of applied sciences and non-university research institutions.
The CDG is a non-profit association with around 200 corporate members who co-finance CD laboratories and JR centres. As a legally established "central research funding institution", we are also an important part of the Austrian research funding system. Building on this solid foundation, we are able to carry out our work in contact with the brightest minds in science and economy and thus gain insights into the latest research, which forms the basis for the innovations of the future.
We are a small, well-coordinated, highly motivated team and take time to familiarize new team members with their field of work. A high degree of flexibility with regard to individual circumstances, respectful cooperation and flat hierarchies contribute to a very good working atmosphere. The working environment is very well organized, offers structure and also freedom to shape one's own work area. Flexitime, home office and various models for part-time to full-time employment allow the work-life balance to be adapted to individual needs. In addition to the attractive salary, which is based on the public service, the job ticket for Vienna, additional days off, extensive opportunities for training and further education, fruit basket, coffee, tea and chocolate sweeten the working day.
