The course of the disease and tumour behaviour varies from cancer patient to cancer patient: in order to help ensure that the central image-guided radiotherapy can be optimally tailored to the person being treated in the future, the new CD Laboratory headed by Barbara Knäusl and Maximilian Schmid is working on ways to increase the precision of radiotherapy in relation to tumour movement and regression. The team is supported by commercial partners Brainlab AG, Philips Austria GmbH and ELEKTA LIMITED.
