Artificial intelligence (AI) is used on distributed microcomputers in a wide range of areas from industry to medicine: However, if the environment and/or working conditions change at a later date, the system usually needs to be adapted at great expense. But what if these microcomputers could "learn" to make the necessary adjustments themselves? The team at the new JR Center headed by Florian Eibensteiner, supported by commercial partners Fronius International GmbH and Danube Dynamics Embedded Solutions GmbH, is researching new methods to get closer to this futuristic-sounding goal!
