Josef Ressel Centres (JR Centres)

JR Centres are established in universities of applied sciences. Important features are:

  4. Rigorous scientific quality monitoring
  5. Bottom-up orientation
  6. Compact research groups (3-10 people)
  7. Key position of the Head of Centre
  8. Joint financing by the public purse and companies
  9. Flexibility and relatively little organisational effort

The funding programmes of the CDG connect science and business. In this way, JR Centres strengthen the innovative power and economic performance of Austria.
